Sales Engineer

We are looking for a Sales Engineer with an automation background who can meet directly with manufacturers, understand complex production challenges, and lead the development of practical automation solutions.

This role sits at the front end of automation projects—working face-to-face with customers, collaborating with internal engineering teams, and guiding solutions from concept through proposal and handoff. It is best suited for someone who enjoys problem-solving, values long-term partnerships, and is looking for a long-term place to build their career.

Role Responsibilities

• Meet with ~15–20 customers per month to understand manufacturing processes and automation needs, including robotic welding, material handling, quality inspection, and custom automation solutions.
• Lead development of automation concepts in collaboration with internal engineering teams (robotics, controls, tooling, fixtures).
• Own the front end of projects: solution framing, scope definition, technical communication, and handoff to engineering and manufacturing.
• Act as the primary technical and commercial point of contact throughout the sales process.
• Help position solutions across automation technologies such as robotic welding cells, automated material handling systems, fixed automation, and robotic inspection.

Travel Requirements

• Regular customer travel required.
• Approximately 5 nights per month.
• Occasional international travel (1–2 trips per year, typically Mexico or Canada).
