Job Title: Youth Career Job Coach and Case manager
Location: La Center, Battle Ground, and Washougal, WA

Position Summary
The Career Coach / Case Manager supports young adults ages 16–24 through the Next Success Youth consortium in Clark County. This role blends youth career coaching and case management, providing individualized support from initial assessment through employment placement and retention.
Career Coaches work one-on-one with participants to develop personalized service plans, coordinate training and work-based learning opportunities, track progress, and provide ongoing support to help participants successfully transition into employment and long-term career pathways.
Key Responsibilities
Youth Career Coaching & Case Management
- Conduct outreach, recruitment, orientations, eligibility determination, and initial assessments
- Develop and manage individualized service plans tailored to participants’ career and life goals
- Provide ongoing case management, progress monitoring, and outcome tracking
- Support skill-building activities including vocational training, financial literacy, and job readiness
- Coordinate paid and unpaid work experiences, job shadows, mentorships, and career exploration
- Provide follow-up services, including workplace support, wage progression, and long-term career planning
- Ensure participants receive required services and meet program benchmarks
Employer & Community Engagement
- Conduct business outreach to build relationships and secure work-based learning opportunities
- Partner with employers, community organizations, and internal staff to support participant success
Data & Administrative Responsibilities
- Complete timely and accurate data entry for enrollment, status updates, exits, and follow-ups
- Maintain participant files in both electronic and hard-copy formats
- Use participant feedback and program data to improve service delivery and outcomes
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in workforce development, social services, job placement, case management, career coaching, or a related field
- Prior case management experience highly preferred
- WIOA program experience is a plus
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered

- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds

- Strong community outreach and relationship-building skills
- Must pass a background check
