Wire Cutter

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Wire Cutter to support warehouse and distribution operations. This role involves cutting and spooling wire, tracking inventory, and preparing materials for shipment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with no interview required.

What You Will Do

• Read customer, work, shipping, and transfer orders to determine materials to be moved or distributed
• Cut and spool various wire sizes using wire-cutting machinery
• Track wire footage on stock reels and update wire tag markers
• Communicate low wire inventory levels to leadership
• Move materials from receiving areas to storage or designated locations
• Scan, sort, and store materials on racks, shelves, or bins
• Assemble customer orders and prepare items for packing or shipping
• Prepare parcels for mailing
• Perform cycle counts and verify inventory quantities as requested

What You Will Bring

• Utility, electrical, and/or distribution experience preferred but not required
• High School Diploma or GED OR
• At least 6 months of related experience and/or training OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to occasionally lift and pull objects up to 50 lbs
• Forklift certification required
• Work environment includes a mix of warehouse and office settings

• Dress Code: Warehouse attire
• Required PPE: Steel-toe shoes
