Employee Onboarding & Talent Development Coordinator

Location: Manufacturing Site | Schedule: Full-time, onsite (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Employee Onboarding and Talent Development Coordinator. This role owns the end-to-end onboarding experience for new salaried employees across Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and IT. The coordinator will create standardized training plans, manage hiring and headcount tracking, support mentorship programs, and assist with interviewing and hiring activities. This position plays a key role in ensuring new employees are set up for success and that workforce growth remains organized and on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and improve the full onboarding process for salaried employees, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles
• Develop, maintain, and track standardized training plans and onboarding templates across departments
• Conduct regular check-ins with new hires and leaders, tracking progress and holding stakeholders accountable for training completion
• Coordinate mentorship opportunities to support employee development and long-term success
• Support hiring and interviewing efforts and help maintain the site’s hiring plan and headcount tracking
• Partner closely with HR and department leaders to align onboarding, training, and staffing needs
• Track and report onboarding, hiring, and training metrics to identify improvement opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred (experience considered in lieu of degree)
• 5+ years of experience in onboarding, training, recruiting, or talent development
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred
