Salary Range: $70k - $85k/annum plus benefits

Job Description:
The Maintenance Planner plays a key role in coordinating, planning, and optimizing maintenance activities within a manufacturing facility. This position focuses on preventive maintenance planning, effective collaboration between maintenance and operations teams, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support new equipment and capital projects by developing preventive maintenance (PM) plans and spare parts lists within the CMMS.
- Scope maintenance work by defining task requirements, estimating labor hours, tools, and resources for work orders.
- Develop, standardize, and maintain preventive maintenance schedules aligned with organizational reliability goals.
- Act as a liaison between maintenance and operations to ensure effective coordination and communication.
- Coordinate planned maintenance downtime to minimize production disruption and improve asset reliability.
- Reduce interruptions and inefficiencies during execution of maintenance activities.
- Support workforce planning by assisting with maintenance job goals and performance objectives.
- Optimize spare parts inventory through consolidation and standardization efforts.
- Support CMMS administration, updates, and configuration changes across multiple sites.
- Provide CMMS training and ongoing support to maintenance teams.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to preventive maintenance strategies.
- Ensure compliance with document control and maintenance recordkeeping requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records at the site level.
- Prepare and distribute monthly maintenance KPI and performance reports.
Education & Experience:
- Technical certification, PM certification, engineering credential, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician or reliability-focused professional.
- At least 5 years of maintenance planning experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience using CMMS systems in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
