PRN Position - Flexible, As-Needed Scheduling


Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Vascular Procedural RN to join our procedure team. This role supports all phases of patient care in our Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) and Office-Based Labs (OBLs), including pre-op, intra-procedural circulating, and PACU recovery for minimally invasive vascular interventions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced procedural environment, delivers exceptional patient care, and is excited to support a growing vascular program across multiple locations.


Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises care given by nonprofessional staff and provides instruction as needed.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

  1. Complete pre-op assessments, patient teaching, and readiness checks.
  2. Circulate during vascular procedures, ensuring safety, sterile technique, and efficient workflow.
  3. Provide high-quality post-anesthesia and post-procedural recovery care
  4. Collaborate closely with physicians, scrub techs, rad techs, and support staff to ensure smooth case flow
  5. Assist with procedural room setup, equipment readiness, and supply coordination
  6. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ASC/OBL compliance standards.
  7. Travel between designated sites as scheduled (mileage reimbursed).

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • BSN required
  • Two years of moderate sedation administration and recovery preferred.
  • Two years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab, preferred.
  • Current license to practice nursing in the state of Texas.
  • ACLS/BLS required.
  • Experience in Pre-Op/PACU, CV, or ICU preferred.
  • Experience in Interventional Radiology and/or Cath Lab preferred.
  • Travel between designated sites as scheduled (mileage reimbursed).


Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and reaching
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
