Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dependable PRN Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team in a welcoming Assisted Living and Memory Care community in McLean, VA. This role is ideal for caregivers who are passionate about supporting seniors and providing person-centered care to residents with varying levels of need, including those living with dementia.
We are seeking compassionate and dependable PRN Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team in a welcoming Assisted Living and Memory Care community in McLean, VA. This role is ideal for caregivers who are passionate about supporting seniors and providing person-centered care to residents with varying levels of need, including those living with dementia.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and repositioning
- Support residents during meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition
- Engage residents in social interaction and meaningful activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with nursing staff
Qualifications
- Active Virginia CNA certification (required)
- Experience in assisted living or memory care preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to senior care
- Ability to work flexible PRN shifts, including weekends or evenings as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
