Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role supports both elementary and middle school-aged students, serving a varied caseload of approximately 50 students in an energetic school environment near Olathe, KS.
As a valued OT in this position, you'll play a key role in the academic success and well-being of students from Lakewood Elementary and Leawood Middle School. Your expertise will be instrumental in meeting diverse therapeutic needs, with responsibilities that range across direct and indirect service delivery.
Your background should include:
- Valid OT licensure in the state or eligibility to obtain before the assignment begins
- Previous experience in school settings, preferably with both elementary and middle school students
- Strong ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of approximately 50 students
- Proficiency with IEP processes and documentation
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff
In this engaging role, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct and indirect occupational therapy interventions as outlined in IEPs
- Conducting assessments and maintaining accurate student records
- Collaborating with teachers, support personnel, and caregivers to optimize student progress
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams
- Adapting interventions to meet evolving student needs throughout the school year
