STEM Teacher (K-8 - SmartLab Coordinator)

The K-8 STEM Teacher leads an engaging, hands-on SmartLab elective designed to spark curiosity and build foundational skills in science, technology, engineering, and design across elementary and middle school grade levels. This role emphasizes project-based learning, problem-solving, and collaboration as students explore real-world challenges through developmentally appropriate STEM experiences.

The STEM Teacher plans and facilitates interactive lessons using tools, materials, and technology aligned with SmartLab principles, fosters a safe and creative learning environment, and supports students in developing critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills. The teacher collaborates with school staff to align the elective with broader academic goals and to support a culture of innovation and inquiry.
