The Manager of Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing and executing forward-thinking strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top talent for our manufacturing operations in Aurora, Ohio and field Operations. This role will champion the use of AI-powered recruiting tools and data-driven techniques to enhance hiring processes, driving higher productivity and efficiency throughout the entire recruitment lifecycle. The successful candidate will ensure the company hires qualified individuals who embody our organizational values and help propel our business to new heights.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities
· Lead, develop, and manage the Talent Acquisition team in sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates for all levels of manufacturing, administrative, and technical roles, leveraging advanced AI tools and automation where appropriate to streamline workflows and improve candidate experiences.
· Design and implement innovative recruitment strategiesincluding the integration of artificial intelligence technologiesto fill open positions efficiently and effectively, focusing on both immediate and long-term staffing needs.
· Partner with department managers to forecast workforce requirements, applying predictive analytics and AI-driven insights to develop targeted recruitment plans.
· Lead the transition away from temp-to-hire model, to better controlling candidate flow, quality and tenure through a direct placement model.
· Build strong relationships with local colleges, technical schools, and community organizations to create talent pipelines, using digital platforms and AI-based outreach tools to expand reach and engagement.
· Stay current with industry trends, local labor market conditions, and emerging best practices in talent acquisition, especially those related to AI, automation, and productivity enhancement.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, while adopting AI solutions that support integrity and transparency in hiring.
· Enhance employer branding through social media, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives, utilizing AI-powered analytics to optimize messaging and campaign performance.
· Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics, harnessing AI and machine learning to generate actionable insights, automate reporting, and recommend process improvements that boost productivity.
· Manage recruitment budget and negotiate contracts with external staffing agencies as needed, identifying cost-saving opportunities through the adoption of AI solutions.
· Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all hiring practices, leveraging AI tools to minimize bias and promote fair candidate evaluation.
Qualifications· Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
· Minimum of 5 years experience in talent acquisition, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
· Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience implementing AI recruiting solutions and productivity-enhancing technologies.
· Strong knowledge of recruitment technologies, applicant tracking systems (ATS), artificial intelligence tools, and social media recruiting.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, leverage AI-generated insights, and make informed decisions that drive productivity.
· Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion, with an understanding of how AI can help foster equitable hiring outcomes.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities, especially within the evolving landscape of AI and automation.
· Familiarity with employment laws and regulations relevant to Ohio.
Location & Work EnvironmentThis position is based at our manufacturing facility in Aurora, Ohio. The Manager of Talent Acquisition will work closely with on-site leadership, HR, and all operational departments, and will be expected to identify opportunities to use AI-powered tools to optimize collaboration and workflow. Occasional travel may be required for job fairs, recruiting events, or training.
Compensation details: 150000-175000 Yearly Salary
