About this job
Position responsible for performing all duties around picking pallets for an order.
- Ensure compliance to Food Safety and Quality programs and processes.
- Storing Pallets in the ASRS: * Hauling Pallets * Inducting Pallets
- Preparing Product for Storage in the ASRS: * Stacking Pallets (when necessary) * Wrapping Pallets * Labeling Pallets
- Complete all job duties in accordance with any applicable: * Safety Procedures / Policies * Work Documents such as: Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Works, Talking Points * Best Practices * Verbal instructions from Freezer Leadership
- Pick Pallets for an Order: * Retrieve an LPN tag with contents of the pallet. * Stack the product on the pallet so that it is stable. * Verify the accuracy of the items and quantities on the pallet.
Pay: $22.00-$22.50 per hour.
Approximate shift start time of 4:55 AM or 6:55 AM.
Qualifications
- High School, GED or equivalent.
- Warehouse experience and forklift knowledge preferred.
- Must have knowledge of or be able to learn the following: basic safety and orientation knowledge, systems flow and overview of all departments of the freezer, specialized knowledge and ability to be trained in area of work.
- Time management and effective communication skills.
- Must be able to perform all required duties in an efficient safe manner.
- Must be able to pass proficiency tests in the allotted amount of time after training.
- Must have the following abilities: read, write, interpret instructions, perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, work with a sense of urgency, troubleshoot, problem solve.
- Must be able to work well in team environment and perform duties with a positive attitude.
- Must be able to meet the Physical Demand Assessment Standards.
