As a Plant Maintenance Technician at Vor, you'll support the facility's maintenance operations, working closely with the Engineering and Maintenance leadership. This role is ideal for someone passionate about mechanical systems, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and contributing to an efficient, productive environment.
Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday
Primary Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and controls equipment
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks, including equipment inspections, basic repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules
- Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to diagnose mechanical issues and support timely resolution
- Help maintain accurate records of equipment performance, repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory
- Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment or machinery
- Collaborate on continuous improvement projects to optimize facility efficiency, safety, and productivity
- Provide general assistance and support to the Engineering & Maintenance team as needed
Requirements:
- A mechanically inclined individual who enjoys hands-on work in a dynamic environment
- Ability to understand and follow maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical instructions
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Previous experience in maintenance, mechanical, or engineering roles is helpful but not required—we value practical problem-solving abilities and eagerness to learn
- Previous experience working with a CMMS system is nice to have
- Physical Demands: Frequently lift up to 50 lbs, occasionally lift up to 75 lbs; occasional sitting, climbing/balancing, squatting, crawling, push/pull, and gripping; frequent stooping/twisting, kneeling, reaching, constant standing, walking, visual acuity (near/far)
- Environmental Conditions: Occasional exposure to uneven ground, working at heights, and biohazards; frequent exposure to excessive noise, extreme temperatures, dust/fumes; constant exposure to hazards and machinery

Compensation:
Compensation for this role is hourly and will be based on your experience, skills, and location, with a typical hourly range between $24.69 and $37.17.
