Groundskeeper - Colton Creek Apartments - McDonough, GA - Full-time

Chandler Residential is looking for a dependable, hands-on individual to join our team as a Fulltime Groundskeeper at Colton Creek Apartments in McDonough, Georgia.

The Groundskeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the physical appearance and cleanliness of our community’s exterior and common areas. This position is perfect for someone with general groundskeeping experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You’ll help ensure our residents experience a safe, clean, and attractive property every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of all exterior grounds, breezeways, sidewalks, and common areas.

• Remove trash, debris, and pet waste from around the property daily.

• Clean around dumpsters, mailrooms, fitness centers, pools, laundry rooms, and clubhouses.

• Water landscaped areas, report irrigation issues, and assist with weed control.

• Replace lightbulbs, air filters, and smoke detector batteries in apartment units.

• Perform seasonal tasks including snow removal and spreading salt as needed.

• Pressure wash buildings and walkways as assigned.

• Assist with light painting, distributing flyers, and preparing vacant units for turnover.

• Promote a positive environment through courteous interaction with residents and staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Prior groundskeeping experience (multi-family industry experience is a plus).

• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Must be physically able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform frequent bending, lifting, walking, and outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Work Hours:
 Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexibility required)
