Job Title: Cycle Checker / Inventory Control Associate

Job Summary

The Cycle Checker is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy within warehouse and manufacturing operations by conducting routine cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting inventory control processes. This role plays a critical part in production flow, material availability, and overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts for raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods
• Compare physical counts to system records (ERP/WMS) and report variances
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies related to receiving, production, material movement, and shipping
• Work closely with manufacturing, warehouse, and planning teams to correct inventory issues
• Verify material locations, lot numbers, serial numbers, and quantities
• Ensure accurate inventory transactions (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments)
• Support production by confirming material availability and accuracy
• Assist with physical inventories and year-end counts
• Maintain organized, labeled, and controlled inventory locations
• Follow safety, quality, and inventory control procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or inventory control preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math and data entry skills
• Experience using ERP systems, WMS, or inventory software
• Ability to read part numbers, bills of material (BOMs), and work orders
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb as needed
• Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs
• Comfortable working in warehouse and manufacturing environments

Work Environment

• Warehouse and manufacturing floor
• Exposure to machinery, forklifts, noise, and varying temperatures
• May require overtime, weekends, or shift flexibility
