Media Specialist

The Media Specialist designs and produces complex graphic and multimedia content from concept through execution, supporting the organization’s brand, messaging, and strategic goals. This role collaborates closely with other marketing team members and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality visual, digital, and written media across multiple platforms, requiring strong concept development, communication, collaboration, research, problem-solving, and proofreading skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and production of visual content across a wide range of deliverables, including proposals, presentations (imagery, video, and custom graphics), social media, infographics, and video.
• Champion Wilson & Company’s brand standards, ensuring visual consistency and quality across all platforms and materials.
• Develop creative concepts and design solutions that elevate storytelling and support business goals.
• Stay current on design trends, emerging technologies, and new tools—including AI—and apply relevant innovations to your work.
• Assist with internal and external creative asset management to support efficiency, consistency, and collaboration.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail, grammar, and spelling.
• Highly organized, able to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and follow through while communicating effectively with teams.
• Proactive, flexible, and collaborative; comfortable working with diverse personalities and professional styles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere).
• Strong design fundamentals, including layout, color, typography, and photography.
• Exceptionally creative and resourceful, with the ability to quickly learn new tools and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Receptive to feedback and able to interpret and apply stakeholder input effectively.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or similar discipline, preferred two years of experience. Without a degree, four years of relevant experience; preferably supporting the A/E/C industry.

Annual Salary Range or Hourly Rate: $28.00 - $40.00 (Depending on Experience)
