Auto Technician

Key Responsibilities & Duties
Preventive Maintenance: Performs oil changes, tire rotations, wheel balancing, filter replacements, and fluid flushes.
Inspections: Conducts multi-point inspections and identifies worn or broken parts needing replacement.
Basic Repairs: Assists with or performs minor repairs (e.g., brake service).
Documentation & Communication: Documents all service actions on repair orders and communicates with service advisors regarding additional, needed repairs.
Safety & Cleanliness: Adheres to all company, local, and state safety regulations and maintains a clean, organized work area. 
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience as a lube tech, mechanic's helper, or completion of an automotive technical program.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of automotive systems, tools, and maintenance procedures.
Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions.
Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy, or hot environment.
License: Valid driver's license.
