Full Time Security Officer in Stevens Point - $17 per hour

**Temporary position with the possibility of permanent employment due to covering a leave of absence.   

Work Schedule:  

Saturday - 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM  Sunday - 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday - 4:00 PM to Midnight  Tuesday - 4:00 PM to Midnight  

32 Hours Per Week at $17.00 Per Hour  

 Job Summary  

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by conducting routine patrols and monitoring facility conditions. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and basic computer skills for reporting.   

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct regular walking rounds inside the facility
• Monitor Cameras
• Monitor for and report:
• • Unauthorized persons on the premises
  • Signs of smoke, fire, or other safety hazards
  • Unsecured, damaged, or broken doors and windows
  • Any notable facility issues or irregular conditions
• Respond appropriately to observed incidents and follow established procedures
• Accurately complete daily activity reports
• Maintain a professional appearance and comply with all site and company policies

Qualifications & Requirements

• Basic computer skills required (for logging daily activity reports)
• Strong written communication skills required, including legible handwriting and clear, professional wording in daily reports
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
• Strong observation, documentation, and communication skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work evening shifts
• Prior security experience is a plus but not required (training provided)

Licensing & Screening Requirements

• Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Wisconsin DSPS Private Security Person license
• Licensing eligibility requires no felony convictions, in accordance with Wisconsin DSPS regulations
• Must remain compliant with all state and company licensing requirements throughout employment
