Supporting people, culture, and operations at Microbiologics

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Intern to join our team in St. Cloud, MN. This internship provides hands-on exposure to all core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and policy support, while allowing students to gain practical experience in a professional, people-focused environment.

- Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes

Your work will directly support employees and help strengthen Microbiologics’ workplace experience.
What You’ll Do
Recruitment & Onboarding Support
- Assist with candidate sourcing through job postings and databases
- Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate communication with candidates
- Help prepare onboarding materials and facilitate new employee orientation sessions
- Ensure completion and tracking of required new-hire documentation
Employee Records & Compliance
- Maintain and update employee records in accordance with company policies and regulations
- Assist with tracking performance reviews, training records, and compliance documentation
- Support compliance audits and reporting as needed
Training, Culture & Engagement
- Help organize and schedule training sessions, workshops, and development activities
- Monitor attendance and gather participant feedback
- Assist with Culture Club activities, including community engagement, team building, and wellbeing initiatives
Administrative & Project Support
- Respond to employee inquiries and route questions to appropriate HR resources
- Prepare reports, presentations, and spreadsheets as needed
- Assist with payroll or benefits administration under supervision
- Conduct research on HR best practices, policies, and trends
- Support special HR projects as assigned
Internship Program Participation
- Attend Granite Partners Internship Bridge meetings
- Create and present a capstone project
- Attend internal Microbiologics internship program meetings

Education & Experience
- Must be a current college or university student
- Major in Human Resource Management, General Business, or a related field preferred
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in research and basic knowledge of statistics preferred
- In good academic standing (minimum 2.50 GPA)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
