Admission International Student Intern

The International Student Admission Intern will provide clerical and outreach support for the international admissions team’s student recruitment efforts.

Responsibilities and tasks include:

• Daily correspondence with prospective international applicants, primarily by email
• Assist with the international inbox as needed
• Co-presentation with admission staff at virtual recruitment fairs, high school visits , or other virtual events as needed.
• Recruitment and coordination of current international students or alumni volunteers for the purpose of:

• outreach/correspondence to prospective applicants (i.e.: individuals, student groups, or high schools abroad)
• general promotional and recruitment efforts
• admitted student yield events

• Informal translation of documents, recordings, or text (depending on language(s) known)
• Assistance with student application data processing after training on Slate CRM
• Provide general feedback to the international admission and communications teams upon request
• Work with and advise the international admission team on new initiatives
• Assistance with general office duties including, but not limited to, filing, preparing mailings, keeping work areas clean, re-stocking materials, etc.
• Assistance with other office roles such as tour-guiding, panel presentations, or reception desk coverage as needed, and after appropriate cross-training
