The Conair Summer Internship Program is designed to provide exceptional students with a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about the diverse business operations at Conair. Those selected will gain invaluable work experience through challenging project assignments and on the job learning experiences.

BHC Walmart Intern Position Summary:

Selected participants will have the opportunity to support a $125MM+ portfolio and learn from the team who directly manages the Walmart and Sam’s Club businesses across a diverse portfolio of Personal Care Appliances (PCA) in Beauty & Home and Health & Beauty Aids Accessories.

Responsibilities:

Interns will receive daily/weekly assignments that will offer general exposure to growing their knowledge base in sales, marketing, ecommerce/digital, merchandising, planning, operations and strategic planning. The interns’ schedules will afford a set period with each Conair team /function area for a holistic learning experience. In addition, each Intern will be given a specific assignment based on their skillset, interest and capacity- to be assigned by Director. There will be final events for interns to celebrate their completion of the program and the chance to prepare a formal recap of learnings and ah-ha’s to Conair leadership via Teams or in-person. Interns should also anticipate joining select customer business meetings to enhance their learnings and interaction internally and externally, as well as store and club tours to understand our product categories and rest of market.

Week #1: Intro to Conair Team, Walmart & Sam’s Club Businesses + Conair Analyst/Planners- possibly attend Walmart Shareholder’s Mtg events w/ Director, who is a former Walmart Officer (June date to be published April 2025)

Week #2: Hair Fashion Appliances (Styling Tools & Dryers)

Week #3: Hair Accessories & Bags + Skin, Grooming

Week #4: Home (Garment, Air Purification, Travel) & Wellness (Scales & Massagers) Categories

Week #5: Sam’s Club

Week #6-8: Interns collaboration and preparation for their FINALE presentation in week #10 to Director and Conair leadership in Stamford of key learning’s. Session will be via Teams.

To be eligible for this exciting internship opportunity, we're seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

You should be a current college student, entering your junior or senior year in the fall of 2026.
The internship program will run from June 1, 2026, through August 7, 2026. Interns will work Monday through Friday on a 37.5-hour work week schedule, which includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.
We require candidates to maintain excellent academic standing.
Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, is a must.
As part of our hybrid work model, interns are expected to be present in the office 4 days a week with Friday being a work from anywhere day. Please note that Conair does not provide housing for summer interns.
Compensation for this internship position is set at $25 per hour, and the internship is based out of our Bentonville, AR office location.

Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the office 4 days a week with Friday being a work from anywhere day.
