Agriculture Research and Product Development Internship - Summer 2026 - Full-time

CME Group is currently looking for an Agriculture Research and Product Development intern for the Summer of 2026. Beginning and end dates may be flexible depending on academic schedule.

The intern will assist the Agriculture Research and Product Development team on day-to-day activities in support of conducting research and analysis on current and prospective agricultural futures and options products and markets. Candidates should demonstrate excellent numerical proficiency, strong writing skills, and keen attention to detail. The ability to synthesize, summarize, and explain large sets of data would be an asset.

Skills / Software Requirements:

• Proficiency with Google and/or Microsoft Office software

• Bloomberg, Tableau, Stata, or R a plus

Education:

• Candidates need be currently pursuing a BA/BS or Masters/Advanced Degree

• Experience with economics, statistics, agriculture, and/or futures and options a plus

Other Requirements:

• Must be local to Chicago during summer 2026

• Able to accommodate hybrid office schedule (20 S Wacker Dr, Chicago, IL 60606)

Actual pay offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education, location of the internship, and the internship area of focus.
