Job Summary
Bottling Technicians for our BMIA group at BioLegend will be responsible for processing product formulations, filling, capping, labeling, and completing batch records, and putting away Finished Good Inventory (FGI). This is a highly team-oriented group which involves working closely with other core teams within the BMIA Departments (LEGENDplex and ELISA) as well as other departments such as Planning, Receiving, Inventory Control, Custom Solution Team (CST), Packaging, MCI, and Quality Control groups.
Essential Functions

- Assist in performing various bottling related tasks to include dispensing antibody solutions, capping and labeling of vials, tubes or bottles.
- Formulate products per approved SOPs and work instructions.
- Verify formulation worksheets to ensure that information such as concentrations, lots number etc. are correct.
- Ability to perform simple Math calculations.
- Put away finished good products in their designated temperature conditions.
- Use computer programs such as Microsoft Excel.
- Provide training to others.
- Set-up and prepare equipment for ongoing operations.
- Operate computer-controlled process support/process equipment (i.e., filling line, lyophilizer, capping, labeling machines, etc.).
- Follow instructions for completion of job tasks.
- Adhere to correct procedures, policies and health/safety guidelines
- Clean and maintains work area and all lab equipment and supplies.
- Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.
Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience
- High school diploma/GED
- 6 months of relevant experience in the biotech manufacturing industry and/or filling/bottling/packaging working environment; Or
- 6 months of non-industry, laboratory experience (e.g. academia)
Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience
- 6 months of experience in a regulated manufacturing industry
- Experience in pipetting or dispensing liquid products
- Ability to perform simple math calculations
- Aseptic Technique in biosafety cabinet
Work Environment & Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a laboratory environment with occasional data entry on a computer. Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
