Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Perform MRI scanning procedures for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department patients \n
- Operate GE MRI scanners (1.5T and 3T) using standard acquisition sequences \n
- Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and department protocols throughout all procedures \n
- Start and manage intravenous (IV) lines as required for contrast administration \n
- Document and manage imaging data using Epic EMR and PACS systems \n
- Collaborate with MRI Tech assistants and department staff across assigned shifts \n
- \n
- Active Illinois MRI Technologist license (or application process initiated) \n
- ARRT certification with MR specialty certification (RTR MR) \n
- Current BLS certification \n
- Demonstrated knowledge of MRI safety guidelines and standard scanning protocols \n
- Proficiency operating GE MRI scanners (1.5T and 3T) \n
- Ability to start IVs independently \n

- Prior experience with Epic EMR and PACS systems \n
- Familiarity with GE 450W and 750W scanner platforms \n
- Experience working in a high-volume radiology environment serving inpatient, outpatient, and ED populations \n

- Work in a well-equipped radiology department utilizing advanced GE MRI technology in a dynamic clinical setting \n
