Position Overview

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), you'll perform a wide range of laboratory testing while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures. \n
- Analyze, verify, and accurately report laboratory results. \n
- Operate, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation. \n
- Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure testing accuracy. \n
- Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, OSHA, and organizational standards. \n
- Document testing activities and maintain accurate laboratory records. \n
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely patient care. \n
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental projects. \n
Requirements

- One of the following: \n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an accredited program \n
- Bachelor's degree in a Biological Science with ASCP certification \n
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with at least 2 years of applicable laboratory experience \n
\n - ASCP certification required \n
- Blood Bank experience required \n
- Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred \n
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills \n
