About this job
The Material Handler I is responsible for sorting and delivering mail, processing outbound packages, and assisting with internal deliveries of laboratory products and materials.
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay: $21.45/hr
Responsibility- Sort and deliver mail.
- Process out-bound FedEx packages.
- Process internal deliveries of laboratory products and materials using Oracle receiving system.
- Pull, pack, and ship customer orders through ShipStation.
- Prepare and paste labels on shipments.
- Determine storage areas for incoming shipments.
- Manage product inventory.
- Receive incoming shipments.
- Process returns.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be computer literate.
- Ability to problem solve, multitask, and prioritize work.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documentation.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently.
Lifting Requirements -light work or exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently. Physical Requirements -stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, observing, pushing or pulling, and reaching. Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions.
