The Operations Coordinator will ensure safety, production planning, fleet management, estimate accuracy, material management and quality metrics are achieved for all ATCO projects. We are open to having this position based at either our Houston, San Antonio, or Phoenix branch, but is a field based position that would require heavy travel to job sites.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the management team in the development, manufacture, promotion and sale of ATCO Structures’ products and services in the USA.
- Be the main ATCO representative for all projects and travel as needed.
- Adhere to appropriate processes and controls analyze reports, monitor and report business opportunities and risks.
- Support operations to achieve/surpass budgeted earnings results.
- Support and assist in production planning, ensure all work is completed in a timely and productive manner calculate and report production results daily.
- Track inventory for Prototypes and special projects.
- Serve as back up for branch operational roles.
- Ensure that operational activities are performed in compliance with local and federal laws and regulations.
- Ensure company policies are uniformly understood and properly interpreted and administered throughout the organization.
- Assist in developing relationships with major clients, suppliers, competitors, government agencies, bankers, professional societies, industry associations and other similar groups.
- Ability to travel 50-70%
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE
- Four (4) year Technical College Trade Certificate is preferred; equivalent years of experience will be considered in lieu of Trade Certificate.
- Minimum of two (3) years of experience in modular buildings preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Negotiation skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and think logically.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A desire to create the safest, most cost-effective work environment while exceeding customers’ expectations.
