Property Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, rent collection, and resident relations.

• Supervise and lead on-site staff including leasing agents, maintenance technicians, and porters.

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain residents.

• Ensure all units are leased at optimal rental rates and that occupancy goals are met or exceeded.

• Prepare and manage the property’s operating budget; control expenses and optimize profitability.

• Oversee rent collection, manage delinquencies, and initiate legal proceedings for non-payment if necessary.

• Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure it is clean, safe, and well-maintained.

• Respond promptly to resident concerns and service requests, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including fair housing and landlord-tenant regulations.

• Maintain accurate records and reports on occupancy, maintenance, and financial performance.

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, renovations, and ongoing maintenance needs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field preferred.

• 3+ years of property management experience is a plus

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

• Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage).

LIHTC experience is a requirement
