Hit the Road - Traveling Canvassers and Petitioners

Not based in Phoenix. Travel required.

We’re hiring Arizona locals who want to travel for paid field work in other states. If you like meeting people, don’t mind being on your feet, and are up for something different, this could be a great fit.

What the work looks like
• Some projects are door to door, listening and persuading
• Other days are spent talking with people and gathering signatures in public places like grocery stores, DMVs, or community events
• Every day, you’re talking directly with voters and doing work that actually matters

If you’ve worked in retail, customer service, hospitality, sales, or canvassing, you’ll probably feel comfortable quickly. If not, that’s okay. We train people who show up ready to work and learn.

How it works
• You’ll train in Las Vegas
• Then deploy with a team to projects around the U.S.
• We cover airfare and lodging (shared hotel rooms)
• You’ll work hard during the day and see the country while you’re doing it
• We’ve worked all over the U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii

Projects move fast, so flexibility and a good attitude go a long way.

This job is a good fit if you
• Are comfortable starting conversations with people you don’t know
• Are friendly, professional, and easy to work and live with
• Can handle a full day outside, on your feet, in all kinds of weather
• Are open to traveling when a project comes up

The basics
• Willing to travel for one to three months at a time
• Comfortable sharing a room with a roommate
• Reliable cell phone with data
• Valid government ID and ability to pass a background check, in accordance with local laws and regulations
• Team Leader drivers must have a clean driving record, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance

Some people join us for one project. Others have been here 5 or 10 years. We promote people who do the work well. Employer-sponsored health and dental insurance is available after 90 days of consecutive work.
