Location: Nesconset, NY 11767
Job Type: Part-Time, Per Diem
Pay Rate: $60–$65/hour
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: To be determined
Caseload: 23 students
Health Source Group is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support its educational clients, including schools across Nassau and Suffolk County. The ideal candidate will provide psychological services to enhance students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing intervention strategies, collaborating with educators and families, and fostering a supportive school environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field (required)
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (preferred)
- Valid New York State certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and intervention planning
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
