Seamstress - Weekly Pay

Gojob is hiring a Seamstress for a distribution warehouse located in Columbus, OH. You will be responsible for altering, and repairing clothing and other fabric items. You will sew garments by hand or with sewing machines, follow patterns or customer specifications, take measurements, and adjust clothing for proper fit. Seamstresses may also hem, mend, replace zippers, and customize designs to meet individual needs.

Shift & Pay:

• Sunday-Saturday, 7:30am - 6pm
• Schedule is flexible - part time or full within normal business hours
• Pay starts at $17/hr - based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Fixing torn seams, replacing buttons, replacing zippers, and mending tears in garments
• Performing simple alterations, such as hemming pants, skirts, or sleeves.
• Trimming excess threads and fabric from completed garments.

Qualifications:

• 1–12 months of on-the-job training or minimal experience.
• No formal education credentials are required.
• Basic knowledge of using sewing machines (e.g., straight stitch, serger) and hand-sewing techniques.
• Ability to follow instructions, ensure accurate measurements, and produce consistent work.
• Good hand-eye coordination for precise, repetitive motion.
• Does involve sitting for long periods.
