Supervisory Responsibilities: None

 

Purpose:   Responsible to support the manufacturing process by completing preventative and unscheduled maintenance on all assembly production equipment

          

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

·         Ensure a safe work environment for self and others.  Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program

·         Support manufacturing process in production department by responding to unscheduled breakdowns on production equipment

·         Accurate completion of PM documents and assigned work orders

·         Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components

·         Assembly of new production fixtures and components

·         Support continuous improvement practices by documenting improvements

·         Monitor torque calibration program

·         Verification of equipment to ensure all safety features are in working order

·         Maintain overall orderliness and organization of the tool crib

·         Support and demonstrate  5 "s" principles

·         Communicate with co-workers and supervisor to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are being completed

·         Participate in routine line set-ups

·         Demonstrate commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and Objectives

·         Promote a positive atmosphere.  Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees

·         Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Minimum Requirements: 

    Education & Experience:

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         1-2 years experience in assembly/production maintenance

·         Experience in hydraulics, pnuematics, & electronics preferred

·         Basic computer skills

 

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·         Current forklift certification

·         Data entry of work orders / PM sheets

·         Ability to focus on assigned tasks and complete in a timely manner

 

 

Training:

·         Reference OJT

 

Physical Demands:

·         Ability to walk or stand 90% of shift

·         Ability to lift 50 lbs

·         Ability to twist, bend, stoop and climb ladders/stairs
