Helper/Grinder - Full-time

Position: Helper/Grinder

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Reporting Relationships:

• Production Manager
• Shop Foreman

Essential Job Functions:

• Grinding
• Removing Waste material from production area as needed.
• Operate forklifts
• Material Handling
• Ability to understand and carry-out verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and managers.
• Ability to work under periodic supervision focused on the progress of work and setting priorities for job completion.
• Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and and to work safely.
• Ability to multitask.

Physical Demands:

• Lift weights up to 35 pounds from floor to waist FREQUENTLY during a 10 hour work shift.

Non-Material Handling Demands:

• Employee is expected to work 40 hours per week. However, hours including overtime and weekends may be required based on needs.
• Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment. PPE includes steel-toe safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, and hard hats.
