About this job
Looking to Join a Supportive, Culturally Responsive Group Practice?
Atlanta, GA (Hybrid: Telehealth + In-Person in Trendy West Midtown)
1099 Independent Contractor | Competitive Fee Split | Minimum 18 hours/week availability
Are you a passionate, culturally responsive therapist tired of administrative headaches and inconsistent referrals? At D.I.V.E. Therapy & Consulting, LLC, we handle all the admin so you can focus purely on what you love: providing high-quality, trauma-informed care to diverse adults, couples, and families.
We have a steady stream of incoming inquiries from culturally diverse clients (including BIPOC, LGBTQ+ individuals, first responders, and U.S. Military Veterans) seeking psychiatric evaluations and ongoing mental health support. Join our dynamic, fun, collaborative "work family" where clinicians thrive with industry-leading support, peer consultation, and real opportunities to grow.
If you're goal-oriented, purpose-driven, social justice-oriented, and excited to practice anti-racism work in a values-aligned team, this is your chance to build a fulfilling caseload without the burnout of solo private practice.
Who We Are
D.I.V.E. Therapy & Consulting, LLC specializes in culturally responsive assessment, psychotherapy, and consultation. We serve adults 18+ across all demographics, with deep expertise in supporting BIPOC, LGBTQ+ individuals, first responders, and Veterans. Our integrative approach blends relational, insight-oriented therapy with evidence-based interventions to help clients reach their goals. We live our values: compassionate, trauma-informed, culturally humble care that promotes diversity at every level.
What You'll Do
- Provide outpatient psychotherapy and assessments via secure HIPAA-compliant telehealth and in-person sessions (hybrid flexibility).
- Treat culturally diverse individuals, couples, and/or families using trauma-informed, goal-oriented approaches.
- Complete Veteran Disability Exams and Independent Medical Opinions (for Psychologists, as referrals arise).
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation (e.g., intakes, progress notes, treatment plans-most due weekly; psychiatric reports within 48 hours).
- Respond to client inquiries within 24 hours and collaborate with treatment teams (PCPs, psychiatrists) as needed.
- Attend staff meetings, peer consultations, and occasional training.
- Contribute to community outreach and referral building alongside our marketing efforts.
- Offer a portion of reduced-rate sessions (agreed-upon).
- We handle billing, scheduling, payments, marketing, and all admin—you just show up and do therapy.
Why Clinicians Love Working Here
- Steady, consistent referrals- support to build your caseload.
- Free in-house supervision and regular peer case consultation.
- Competitive compensation via fee split (1099) + productivity bonuses.
- Beautiful office space in trendy West Midtown with onsite amenities.
- Continuing education stipends (for full-time equivalent clinicians).
- Supportive, collaborative team environment focused on growth and work-life balance.
- Evening/weekend availability is a plus (but not required).
- And much more. We advocate clinician well-being and professional development!
What We're Looking For
- Active, unrestricted license in Georgia (fully independent or temporary/pre-licensed; PSYPACT required for Psychologists).
- Malpractice insurance.
- At least 18 hours/week availability (we fill your schedule based on referrals).
- 1+ year post-licensure experience preferred.
- Alignment with our mission, vision, and values (compassionate, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, anti-racist practice).
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills, organization, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- A niche specialty (e.g., trauma, couples, eating disorders, OCD, grief, family therapy) is a big plus. Trauma experience is highly preferred.
- Experience in private practice or running groups/workshops preferred but not required.
- Willing to engage in community resource building and referral sources to build a caseload alongside our marketing.
- Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented.
This Role Is Perfect For You If
- You want to focus on clinical work, not administrative tasks.
- You're energized by a supportive team and contributing to a growing, mission-driven practice.
- You're passionate about culturally responsive care and social justice.
- You thrive on constructive feedback and professional growth.
