The Accounting & Operations Analyst will play a key role in stabilizing and strengthening the financial foundation of a rapidly expanding dental group, while directly

This role reports directly to the leadership team, including the CEO, Fractional CFO, and Executive Advisor, offering unparalleled visibility, mentorship, and the chance to grow alongside the business.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Reporting
- Maintain accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to ensure timely and accurate processing
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal policies
- Coordinate with external accountants and auditors during audits and tax filings
Analytics & Business Insights
- Utilize business intelligence tools to generate financial and operational reports
- Develop and maintain dashboards that track performance and financial health
- Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Administrative & Operational Support
- Support daily operations by providing financial guidance to internal teams
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting, collaborating closely with leadership
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of patient financial data within practice systems
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
- Stay current on accounting best practices, tax regulations, and healthcare financial standards
- Help implement process improvements to streamline accounting workflows and reduce inefficiencies
What Were Looking For
- Strong understanding of
accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting - Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Excel
- Experience with data analytics tools (Tableau or Power BI) is a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders
Preferred Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 23 years of experience
in a healthcare or dental setting, with responsibilities including accounting, patient billing, or general office financial operations
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Office-based role with minimal noise levels
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands for computer and office tasks
- Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds
