Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the physical therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and treatment protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is clean and functional.
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering patient inquiries.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and progress.
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all patients.

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Hawaii.
• Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Compassionate demeanor with a passion for helping others.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling.
