Job Description:
We are hiring a hands-on Data Management / Cloud Engineer to support our AML (Anti-Money Laundering) platform. The role focuses on data movement, ETL development, production monitoring, and AML model integrations.
You will be working in the Risk division supporting a third-party AML platform (Actimize) within a collaborative team environment.
This is an individual contributor role requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
Production Support
Monitor and manage ETL/data movement jobs.
Ensure scheduled jobs run successfully.
Investigate and resolve job failures.
Perform root cause analysis.
Coordinate with model teams, upstream/downstream systems, and business stakeholders.
Respond to alerts via monitoring tools.

Development & Enhancements
Develop and enhance ETL pipelines using Ab Initio.
Support new AML model implementations.
Work within established internal development frameworks.
Support AML alert mapping and workflow integrations.
Collaborate with internal teams and external AML platform partners.

Automation & Compliance
Develop automation scripts using Python.
Support data retention workflows (5-7 years based on regulatory requirements).
Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory standards.

Required Technical Skills
Ab Initio (Mandatory - Non-negotiable)
Strong hands-on ETL development experience
Python
SQL
AWS Cloud experience (working within cloud environments)

Environment & Tools
ETL Tool: Ab Initio (Version ~4.0)
Cloud: AWS (environment exposure required; no infrastructure build)
Data ingestion from OneLake
Job Scheduler: Redwood
Monitoring & Alerts: PagerDuty
Internal routing and alert mapping frameworks

Nice to Have
Financial Services industry experience
AML domain exposure
Actimize platform experience
Experience working in ECE environments
