Radiology Technologist in Tiffin, OH

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a skilled multi-modality imaging technologist to perform a combination of two imaging procedures, such as CT and X-ray, in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate is experienced in Radiology Technology with a focus on CT imaging and is proficient in using equipment like GE CT and X-ray machines. This contract role includes evening shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every fourth weekend and alternating holiday shifts starting at 7 PM.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radiology Technologist, including 2 years of hospital-based CT experience
• Ohio licensure and ARRT certification required; CT registry highly preferred
• BLS certification preferred upon hire; must be obtained prior to direct patient care
• Comfortable with emergency department patients and multi-modality workflows
• Proficient in performing venipuncture, contrast administration, and use of power injectors
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Knowledge of EPIC, PACS, and RIS systems is advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Perform imaging procedures in two modalities, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
• Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation and other hazards
• Obtain and document patient histories and lab results accurately
• Administer contrast and medications as prescribed with proper technique
• Verify patient identity with strict adherence to protocol
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed
• Collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
