A Shared Vision to End Homelessness
The McKay Project, also known as Arnold’s Place, is a newly developed Alameda Wellness Campus located in the City of Alameda that includes a medical respite and primary care facility. Housed in a 30,000-square-foot, two-story building, the campus is designed to provide integrated, patient-centered care for individuals experiencing homelessness with complex health needs.
The campus includes 104 supportive housing units for unhoused seniors; a 50-bed medical respite program serving unhoused Alameda County residents with acute health conditions; and an on-site health clinic offering medical, behavioral health, and geriatric care. Additional services include homelessness prevention, housing placement support, and dignified end-of-life care. Together, these programs allow care to be tailored to each patient’s individual needs while supporting long-term stability and wellness.
