SeaView Community Services is hiring an ASAP Coordinator & Records Specialist to support critical programs that serve our local community. About the Role
This is a dual-position role responsible for coordination of our Alcohol Safety Action Program (ASAP) and management of client medical records. The successful candidate will work closely with the court system, law enforcement, and treatment providers, while also ensuring that all medical records are handled securely and in full compliance with privacy regulations.
Key Responsibilities
ASAP Program Coordination
Screen, refer, and monitor court-referred clients receiving substance use services.
Track compliance with court-ordered treatment and maintain accurate case documentation.
Testify in court as needed regarding client progress and program compliance.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local courts, law enforcement, and treatment partners.
Collect and report monthly and annual program statistics.
Medical Records Management
Organize and file electronic and paper medical records and correspondence.
Maintain secure and confidential filing systems in compliance with HIPAA and agency policy.
Fulfill record requests and retrieve case information with accuracy and discretion.
Manage document retention and shredding of obsolete records.
Provide front desk and reception support daily from 1 PM – 5 PM.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Experience in behavioral health, criminal justice, or case management is a plus
Familiarity with medical records protocols and confidentiality standards
Strong communication skills and professionalism, including court appearances
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database systems
Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage time independently
Team player who can work across departments and with external partners
