- Responsible for understanding and following: all personal and equipment safety policies, all GHP and Food Safety/HACCP, Sanitation policies: Following all Business Unit and procedures.
- Must be available/willing to work overtime as needed.
- Must be physically capable to lift 50 lb. flour bags routinely.
- Must be able to comprehend and follow written/verbal instructions.
- Will be responsible for all phases of packing operations on assigned machines
- Will be responsible for quality and quantity of all packages produced.
- Will be responsible for sanitation and cleanliness of all packaging equipment and packing floor areas.
- Will be responsible for lubrication of all packing equipment and machines.
- Complete Master Sanitation duties, daily checks, and other critical duties daily.
- Will become qualified for all other warehouse functions, including but not limited to, labor, forklift operation, and RTE operations.
- Must have a high school education and/or equivalent work experience.
- Must become familiar with all packaging equipment and be able to work safely around machines while in operation.
- Must be able to read and write legibly. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide and perform simple arithmetic calculations.
- Must be willing to keep assigned work areas neat and clean. Must be able to perform assigned duties in an orderly fashion.
- Must be safety conscious and work in a safe manner. Must be dependable and cooperative.
- Must be able to get along well with other employees.
- Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, multiple times per day
- Climb ladder, step and extension
- Able to lift to 50 pounds and exert 20 pounds of force
- Frequently stand, walk, rotate, bend/stoop, twist, crouch, kneel, balance and reach at shoulder level and below shoulder level
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including a dust mask
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
