AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a part-time Master Acquisition Program Management Analyst to provide direct acquisition and contracting support to our government customer’s Production Integrated Product Team (IPT).
This role focuses on hands-on program execution and requires strong experience in DoD acquisition documentation, cost analysis, contracting actions, and cross-functional coordination. You will work closely with government stakeholders, subject matter experts, and contracting personnel to ensure acquisition actions are properly developed, tracked, and executed in support of program objectives.
Responsibilities:- Fully support the Production IPT Lead in contracting, cost analysis, contract modification tracking, proposal technical assessments, and other time-sensitive action items.
- Develop, track, and finalize ACAT documentation, coordinate actions across subject matter experts, and maintain program archives in SharePoint.
- Prepare purchase requests for small acquisition procurements and support larger acquisition efforts.
- Utilize database systems, including SharePoint, to track existing contracting actions, manage contractual documentation, and produce detailed status reports.
- Conduct detailed technical analysis of contractor proposals, coordinate evaluation activities, and draft detailed assessment reports.
- Develop and utilize cost models to establish government cost positions.
- Generate and update acquisition documentation, including RFPs, SOWs, CDRLs, contract exhibits and attachments, cost estimates, J&As, RFIs, and procurement requests.
- Support meetings, working groups, briefings, and design reviews or audits at government and contractor facilities.
- Coordinate closely with Contracting Officer’s Representatives (CORs) and Contracting Officers to support contract modifications, prioritize action items, and generate required documentation.
- Coordinate with Configuration Management personnel to support engineering change proposal (ECP) contracting actions.
- Candidates must possess an active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or an Engineering discipline and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or
- Master’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or
- Doctoral degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience supporting a DoD organization, preferably in program acquisition, cost analysis, and/or contracting.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of and Program Office acquisition responsibilities, including required documentation and milestone timelines.
Work Expectations:
- This is a part-time position. Work is performed primarily on-site at the Naval Support Facility, Arlington, VA, or as directed by the government.
- Expected work schedule ranges from 20 to 32 hours per week. Hours may vary based on program requirements.
- Travel requirements are estimated at approximately 30% to 40% and may vary based on mission needs.
- The targeted hourly rate range for this position is $81.73 to $86.54 per hour.
- The job posting may display a full-time salary range in accordance with pay transparency requirements; however, compensation for this role will be paid on an hourly basis and prorated consistent with the approved part-time schedule.
