Job Description:
The DC Associate is responsible for receiving and moving materials within the Distribution Center.
Responsibilities
Stock new merchandise, palletize and label accordingly.
Receive freight and unload while checking shipments for accuracy.
Pull orders quickly and accurately as assigned and tag all completed orders.
Ensure that customer orders are located, picked up and signed for.
Load freight and verify all orders are accounted for.
Uses the computer / RF scanner to enter records.
Safely operate equipment within the Distribution Center.
Ensure all daily housekeeping duties are completed and maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
Other duties may be assigned.
Essential Job Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions and procedure manuals.
Be able to lift 50 pounds.
Capable of safely operating equipment, such as forklift and pallet jack.
Consistent and reliable attendance.
Proficient in basic math skills.
Ability to use the computer and a handheld radio frequency device.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Highschool diploma or GED equivalent.
Eligible to work in the United States.
Ideal Candidates
Comfortable with using a computer and RF device.
Demonstrates strong attention to detail.
Has reliable attendance and is punctual.
Operates safely and can maintain a clean and neat work environment.
Willing to get powered equipment certification.
Education
Highschool diploma or GED equivalent.
