A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Westerville, OH, offering an engaging opportunity to support students communication development within a dynamic educational environment. This role involves working directly with students who have various speech and language needs, providing assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and families to promote student success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all therapy sessions and progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
  • Travel between school sites as required to deliver services efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure and certification in speech-language pathology.
  • Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings.
  • Strong knowledge of communication disorders and therapeutic techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and school staff.
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
  • Willingness to travel between school locations as needed.
