Shift: Monday-Friday, Day Shift. Based on department needs.
The Manager of Sterile Processing is responsible for the entire range of reprocessing services for UnityPoint Health Meriter. This is inclusive of the hospital campus, clinic locations and any applicable service contract agreements. The Sterile Processing Manager ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies, including but not limited to; AAMI, JC, OSHA, CDC, AORN. The manager has oversight for all aspects of human capital management; FTE management, hire, fire, performance management, employee engagement, productivity goals, staff orientation, training and development.

Education:
- High School Graduate
- Professional certification CRCST within 6 months of employment
- 4-5 years Sterile processing or Surgical Technology experience with demonstrated leadership and positions with increasing responsibility
- Extensive knowledge of decontamination, inspection and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment
- Ability to use MS Office software products
- Well versed in AAMI ST79 Standards and AORN Recommended Practices
