Job Description
Qualifications
Candidates must possess a valid CDL Class B with Tanker Endorsement for the state of Ohio. High school diploma. On the job training will be provided.
Position Requirements

- Must be able to follow verbal or written directions.
- Ability to be thorough, read and interpret sewer system maps and plans, accurately read and record data.
- Recognize and react quickly and appropriately to unusual or threatening conditions in work environment.
- Must be able to utilize small hand tools and power tools, such as a hammer drill.
- Use of electronic office equipment, bending and twisting and manual dexterity to enter confined spaces and to exit quickly in the event of an emergency.
Physical Requirements
- The ability to drive a tanker truck weighing up to 66,000 lbs.
- The ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions and tolerate outdoor allergens for extended periods of time (8-10 hours per day) for the majority of the year.
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time during the majority of the workday.
- The physical strength to reach above shoulders to retrieve and restore aluminum tubes, 3-ft. to 6-ft. in length, and connect to each other to perform operations.
- The ability to drag 1.5-inch industrial hose line for up to 100 yards and restore.
- The ability to lift and set aside 60-100-lb. manhole covers using manhole hooks.
- The ability to work in and around sanitary and storm sewage, bacteria, and debris; including withstanding potentially strong smells associated with the sewage.
Travel - Some overnight travel may be required. Typically back home for weekends. Must have a clean driving record and submit to random drug testing.
