Job Description
STOCKROOM CLERK - START ASAP
Location: Camarillo, California 93012
Shift: Mon - Fri 6:00 am - 2:30 pm + OT
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in counting, packing, sealing, and storing obsolete materials
- Can start immediately
Summary:
Responsible to count, receive, issue, transfer and store inventory accordingly. The Stockroom Clerk may also support the Shipping & Receiving team as required.
Position Duties:
- Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Work from instructions including blueprints, purchase orders, shippers and routers.
- Receive, store, handle, locate, issue, deliver, weigh, measure, count, identify all types of material and supplies, including bar stock, extrusions, castings etc., per picklists, blueprints, routers, purchase orders and computer printouts.
- Process WO’s and material transactions by using Mapics and/or Infor XA system.
- Stack and store the parts and/or materials in designated areas.
- Pull orders following the routers and picklists.
- Pull picks
- Replenish back ordered items.
- Ensure correct quantities in inventory.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Take cycle count daily and/ or physical inventory as required.
- Perform inventory adjustments as needed.
- Keep traceability of all goods entering and leaving inventory.
- Receive all incoming materials into stockroom from the Receiving and Inspection Departments verifying with purchase orders if needed.
- Distribute materials to proper location(s) within the plant using FIFO
- Enter, issue and/or transfer inventory into the system accordingly.
- Prepare and issue components to outside process WO’s.
- Keep work area in a safe clean and orderly manner.
- Operates packaging equipment to wrap, preserve and pack by prescribed specifications.
- Perform all tasks in a timely, safe and accurate manner to avoid delays in operations.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk, sit, stand or reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
