Instructional Aide Positions Per Diem, School-Based Support
Location: Helendale, CA

Seeking compassionate Instructional Aides to provide critical 1:1 and small-group support to students in a structured school environment. These per diem, as-needed roles offer flexible shifts aligned with school coverage demands, ideal for professionals committed to making a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classrooms
• Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance following teacher and staff guidance
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement
• Implement behavior support plans and adhere to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Ability to complete required TB test per district guidelines
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Certification or training in CPI, PMT, or RBT is beneficial but not mandatory
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative team player
