About this job
The LPN provides direct nursing care to assisted living residents while supervising Quality of Life Specialists. Responsibilities include medication administration, assessments, documentation, care plan management, and responding to changes in resident conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Monitor resident conditions and report changes to physician and responsible party
Complete assessments, care plans, and documentation per policy
Supervise and support assigned care staff
Participate in admissions and care conferences
Respond promptly to resident call system and emergencies
Ensure compliance with state regulations, infection control, and resident rights
Complete incident reports and follow-up as required
Promote resident independence, safety, and quality of life
Assist with staffing coordination as needed
Qualifications
Active Delaware LPN license
Minimum 1 year nursing experience (Assisted Living or Memory Care preferred)
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Knowledge of regulatory standards (OSHA, state health regulations)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to respond to emergencies as needed
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs with assistance)
Ability to perform light physical work in a healthcare environment
