Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator based in the Rochester area, NY.  This position supports the marketing department’s initiatives by organizing campaigns, developing content, and assisting with project management. This role is responsible for ensuring that all marketing efforts are executed efficiently and align with organizational goals. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing trade events, sourcing incentives, supporting webinars, and assisting with social media initiatives to enhance our brand presence and engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns (digital, print, social media, events)
  • Coordinate and track the progress of marketing projects to ensure timely completion
  • Create and edit marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and social media content
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
  • Maintain marketing calendars and schedules
  • Support the organization and promotion of events, trade shows, and webinars
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to execute marketing initiatives
  • Manage inventory of promotional materials and oversee their distribution
  • Assist in the development of email marketing campaigns
  • Contribute to the design and production of marketing collateral using basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Maintain organized records of projects, timelines, and budgets to ensure all initiatives run smoothly and on schedule.
  • Lifting and transporting up to 20 lbs of event materials as needed for trade shows and marketing activities.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred (or relevant experience)
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred, but entry-level candidates are welcome
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with marketing software (such as CRM or email platforms) is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing trade events, webinars, or similar marketing projects.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and major platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok).
  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with some in-person requirements in Rochester, NY.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business-related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in developing and executing targeted marketing strategies for specific customer segments.
  • Knowledge of content marketing principles and best practices.
  • Desired - experience in the Scanning, Printing, or IDP industry

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Solid understanding of B2B marketing principles, including demand generation, lead nurturing, partner/channel marketing, and campaign execution across multiple touchpoints.
  • Demonstrated capability to support and coordinate trade shows, partner events, customer webinars, and internal marketing activities, including logistics, vendor coordination, and post event follow up.
  • Ability to create, edit, and adapt marketing content such as presentations, email campaigns, social media posts, event materials, and basic design assets while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and management tools, with the ability to schedule, monitor, and support social media initiatives aligned with B2B brand and campaign objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams (sales, product, services) and external vendors or agencies.

 

 

Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on level of experience
