The Maintenance Technician is a multi-craft position that requires a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronics (PLC). This position provides emergency and routine maintenance support to the operations departments in an industrial/automated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Successfully troubleshoot, install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment as directed.
- Perform troubleshooting using a PLC.
- Identify parts and supplies as needed to perform assigned tasks using manuals, catalog, etc.
- Perform work in an efficient and timely manner
- Confers with operators and observers, tests, and evaluates operations of machinery and equipment to diagnose cause of malfunction.
- Disassembles machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
- Repairs, replaces, adjust, and align components of machinery and equipment orders or fabricates replacement parts.
- Test-runs repaired machinery and equipment to verify adequacy of repairs.
- Records repairs, maintenance performed and machine maintenance information utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Communicates with or assists other associates to repair equipment.
- Maintain a cooperative relationship with those contacted in the course of work activities.
- Adhere to all Safety Policies.
- Always wearing Personal Protective Equipment.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Associate’s degree in Electronics, General Technology, or a related field, with 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong hands-on expertise in electrical systems, PLCs, mechanical equipment, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex industrial equipment efficiently and accurately.
- Skilled in PLC-based diagnostics to support root-cause analysis and minimize downtime.
- Experienced in disassembling, repairing, adjusting, and reassembling mechanical components to OEM standards.
- Knowledgeable in maintaining and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including component replacement.
- Able to identify and source required parts using manuals, schematics, catalogs, and CMMS documentation.
- Comfortable documenting maintenance activities and repairs in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Strong communicator who works effectively with operators, maintenance teams, and supervisors.
- Safety-focused professional with consistent adherence to PPE, training, and safety protocols.
- Organized, reliable, and collaborative, with a track record of completing work on time and to standard.

Compensation Range: $30.00 - $43.00/hour.
Workspace Environment:
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, and reach with arms and legs to perform job duties.
- Able to reach above and below shoulder height and move throughout all areas of the facility.
- Capable of climbing stairs and navigating the facility safely.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials using proper body mechanics.
- Able to lift up to 100 lbs as required.
- Comfortable wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work in cold (-10°F to 45°F) and wet environments.
